Proceedings of Annual Language, Literature, and Culture International Conference (ALICIO) 2026 is an international academic conference organized by the Faculty of Literature, Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU), Medan, Indonesia. Held in July 2026, the conference brings together scholars, researchers, lecturers, academics, and students from various backgrounds to exchange knowledge and discuss contemporary issues in language, literature, and culture. ALICIO 2026 carries the theme “Voices Unheard: Inclusive Languages, Literature, and Cultural Narratives.” The theme reflects the conference’s commitment to amplifying diverse and underrepresented voices, promoting inclusivity, and fostering dialogue across linguistic, literary, and cultural boundaries. It provides an academic platform for exploring how language, literature, and cultural narratives contribute to understanding diversity, identity, representation, and contemporary social realities. 
The proceedings present selected scholarly contributions from plenary speakers, panelists, researchers, and academics participating in the conference. The papers cover diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches to language, literature, and culture, offering valuable insights into emerging issues, challenges, and developments in these fields. The main objective of ALICIO 2026 is to facilitate the exchange of ideas, research findings, and scholarly perspectives among participants from different academic and cultural backgrounds.
